INTEGASA designs and manufactures double tube – double tube plate heat exchangers. The double tube wall prevents contact with media even in the case of leakage. The tubes are designed to detect leakage but help to avoid the mixing of fluids, allowing the installation to continue running until the following routine maintenance.
These heat exchangers are used in the following sectors – chemical, oil & gas, power, heat pump, logistics centre, pharmaceutical, food & beverage.
The tubes are made of SS316L stainless steel, carbon steel and titanium, and all combinations. The tubes were designed and enhanced by INTEGASA in order to increase efficiency and detect any possible leakages. A leak detector between the tube plates is installed as well. The tubes are welded to the tube plates for extra security.
INTEGASA also supplies double tube-double plate spray chillers (safety spray chillers) with titanium tubes for sewage, wastewater, or seawater applications. This solution avoids an intermediate heat exchanger and raises the heat pump’s COP.
An expert design that uses a suitable combination of water velocity and pressure losses to achieve a self-cleaning effect, combined with a mechanical design compatible with external tube cleaning systems, reduces the impact of the fouling factor in these services.
Our R&D engineers are developing spray chillers using CO2 and hydrocarbons as refrigerants. This is another step in keeping our leadership using this low-charge technique.
